This is the Title Screen I implemented for Destiny 2: The Final Shape (https://www.destinythegame.com/en/the-final-shape). Figma design and art support by Dakota Galayde (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/49Ddnl).
Destiny 2 is built using a custom engine called the Tiger Engine that has very limited UI material support and tight memory constraints. For this Title Screen, I used various alpha mask techniques as well as hand authored animations to achieve the final result. For the rotating radials, I used quadrant masking so that each corner had an animation control that morphed into a singular animated presentation.
